Our Board

Country Kids is a Community owned Centre operating as an Incorporated Society. Families (attending), or member of the community who wish to become a member, have the chance to vote and have their say about leadership and the direction of the society. The Board comprising elected members of the Society has overall responsibility for the governance and aims of Country Kids Incorporated which is: “Providing educational facilities and promoting and maintaining Early Childhood education for all families living in and around the Moutere district”.

Elections take place at the Annual General Meeting in September each year. We are fortunate to be supported by an active and caring Board.

Kiaora koutou, my name is Maegan Gardner. My husband Rowan and I moved to Upper Moutere seven years ago. We have made the Moutere our home, adding Adelyn and Ben along the way. They both attend Country Kids and we all just love it.

I joined the Board of Trustees in 2019 to give back to our awesome community and to support the great work that the staff at Country Kids do for our kids.

I am a Primary School teacher, supporter of Rowan’s never ending projects and occasionally I like to go to gym as well as explore the beautiful environment that we are fortunate to have in our region.
